Speaking of her, in the preview, she gave the MC an item/whistle in case he gets into trouble and need rescuing (makes her even more wifey material), but it looks quite similar to Mr. Ming's chef knife in design doesn't it?? I wonder if he could, or actually his master could be related to the phoenix clan/chick, or possibly connected in some way. Maybe somehow had his chef knife created by the phoenix clan or possessed it from them or learned some chef dishes/techniques/etc...from them besides the MC's master.
